Amazon just screwed me

Today I got an email in my inbox called "Account Closure: Please Read" from amazon.com - and no, it was not hoax. I ordered a monitor and some books to the hotel I'm staying at here in Portland. The email suggested someone had obtained my account information "somehow" and that "while we do not know how this happened in your case"... they go on to list how people get their account information stolen.

News flash - geniuses, ever heard of freakin' ASKING me if I made those orders? Now my account is canceled because of you guys.. does that mean I won't get my new monitor and my new books? Does that mean my S3 account is canceled too? ya know, the one filled with the videos that have been downloaded hundreds of thousands of times?

They left me with a generic return email address, no phone number, no clue as to the state of my transactions! JERKS!

Update: My account is "on hold" and now I have to wait for them to call me back (too bad I have things I need to do, so if I'm not here when they call me, they've just screwed me again). They claim that the billing address for my card is wrong - so I just checked the receipt email, the billing address -is- correct. Bah! Oh and by the way: the customer service phone number for Amazon that they try so hard to hide is: 1800 201 7575

Update 2: Amazon has not canceled by account, but they have canceled my order - well, one of them anyway. I got my book on real time collisions, but not my monitor. I've re-placed the order for the monitor, hopefully it'll arrive on Thursday.
