Tomorrow is a travel day - I'm moving countries. I've never done that before.. it's kind of a big deal to leave your family and friends behind and forge a new path in a strange foreign land where they speak a different language. In this case, I'm moving to the USA, where apparently they speak some sort of variant of english that broke off from normal english many years ago.

I'll be moving to Portland, Oregon. Ping me if you live there and want to get together, let's rally together the Portland Smalltalk Users Group too.

Tomorrow sees me flying to Sydney to say goodbye to my colleagues in Sydney, many of whom I have had the chance to work with over the last year and a bit, some of whom I never even met. But still - a big thanks to everyone there! You're a wonderful group.

Then on Thursday, the main leg of the journey begins - this is where I expect the regular Michael Travel Stories to begin - if I'm unlucky. Things might go super smooth, but considering how many connections I have, jumping all over the place - I kinda doubt it.
