It has come to my attention that with the large number of RSS feeds out there, news itself has become some what ephemeral. It lasts less than a day usually, or in some cases but a week. This is an interesting trend. When I was younger, news would last weeks. Now newspaper news lasts a week, TV news lasts a couple of days and internet news lasts less than a day. For example, I will hear about Steve Jobs's cancer surgery again tomorrow on a more main stream source, or perhaps tonight - and that'll be it. News gone.
