A study that compared USA, England, Europe, Australia, etc for various technology industries has found Australia to be the cheapest place to develop high quality software. The study excluded low cost Indian, Chinese outsourcing joints.

This is a big boon for Australia and for companies like my own, Software WithStyle, who proudly waves the "Made in Australia" flag.
