And yes, I don't think "feminists" stick up for being female. I think perhaps at the start they did, but these days it rarely seems to be a sincere motivation. I, personally, am getting sick of all the 'feminisized male images' being thrown about in magazines, adverts, tv shows, posters. It's a blatent 'anti-male' movement right in front of our eyes. News flash: men come in all shapes and sizes, just like women. At least women are finally starting to throw up their arms at 'fashion's (generally) unrealistic portrail of women.

Update: I thought I should clarify the 'anti-feminist' part of this blog item some more. The feminist movement was essential - not so Women could be our all mighty masters - but because it clarified basic human rights that were and still are being abused for women. This happens for men too, but by and large it's mostly women that suffer.

Kudos to the feminist movement for stopping all that. But now feminism is used as an umbrella for, in general, getting women more rights than men. This is clearly not what should be happening. The term 'anti-feminist' is used in anger far too much so I'm going to withdraw it. Anti-feminists go around distorting the truth about horrible crimes like beatings, etc, suggesting that a woman had it coming. This is absolute nonsense of course.

What I support is women feeling free to be themselves. Far too often, feminists demand a woman leave home, get a job, not have children, get a high profile job, ignore what's most true about (most) women.

Motherhood. Now, I don't in any way shape or form think women 'belong in the kitchen' :), but they certainly can make babies. And they certainly can feed babies. So.. feminists, ease off - women have a hard enough time as it is without you telling them they're living a lie (they get enough of that from everywhere else, media, magazines, shovenist pigs..).
