I agree with this guy again. Certification of software engineers is a joke. First of all, there is only a limited field of computer programming that I would classify engineering.. and, surprise, it's right down at the engineering level, the very deep guts of systems where they talk to engineered hardware. I doubt even the word 'engineering' holds up there if you look closely enough. I consider myself a farmer - I grow software.
