Okay, I've bit my tongue long enough. You can summarise the movie thusly: Smith is an uber virus ready to infect the machine world and the human world and the matrix. Machines are worried, Neo makes a deal with them to stop Smith for peace. He does, end of story. Oh, Trinity dies and machines invade xion, blahblahblah.

If you haven't seen movie 2 or 3 yet, don't bother seeing either. It's visually spectacular and it is an 'ending', but it could have been done a lot better in one movie. I'm being harsh, sure, and I even lowered my expectations, but come on - this could have been done a LOT better. Mind you, it is better than that crap they're labelling "Star wars" these days.
