Oh my god! If I wrote software that lost users data I'd be FIRED!. I just installed the latest version of firebird using apt-get install mozilla-firebird .. and wham! I lost all of my bookmarks. Yeah, I'm a bit peeved about this! Yeesh!!. Those developers should be shot! What a fucked up policy "cross your fingers and pray" my arse. And Debian didn't even warn me this might happen when I upgraded!
