Thanks to all those interested in this crazy idea. I've a general concensus now - make a small experiment VM to see how these ideas actually pan out. As a very very very rare spare time activity I (hopefully with Anthony Lander) shall endevour to do this. Anthony Lander and I will be brain storming for a while.
