This was a fun movie. Lots of sword fighting, swashbuckling, swinging from ropes, stealing ships and general pirateness. Geoffrey Rush even managed a good Arrrrr. They even save the damsel in distress.

The only bit of the movie that spoiled it was the special effects of the pirate ship filled with skeletons. That scene was terrible. It looked so fake. Also, the bit where the skeletons were walking under the ocean and climbing up on to the ship, that looked fake as well.

I guess they just had trouble making skeletons look like people in moon light or under water. Oddly enough, the skeletons in the final battle looked fine.
